Everyday a bird came and saw the dog and the two became friends. The bird would play with the dog and also tease him. But the dog did not mind this at all. When the dog got his food everyday, the bird would come near and catch a piece of food. She held it up in her beak and was out of his reach just to tease him. But the dog did not get angry, because he was glad to have someone to play with. One day the bird fell into a tub full of water, not very far away The dog saw this and dragged the heavy stone near enough to reach the tub. He took the bird out and put her down on the ground. The bird lay still for a while and then got up.
